Induc-Control

Protection element connected in series with the earth network. It protects the building from surges that spread through the ground, caused by lightning strikes at a certain distance.
Advantages:
• It prevents surges from entering through the earth connection, which may damage electrical and electronic devices.
• It does not modify the ohmic resistance of the earth network.
Features:
It consists of two concentric galvanized steel coils on a metal support and enclosed in a cylinder. Connected in parallel, there is a resistor with a very low ohmic value, close to zero. The cylinder contains a specific mixture of sands, with specific quantity and spot size.
• Without atmospheric disturbances, the filter channels small unwanted currents to the ground.
• With atmospheric disturbances, the working range goes from 1.1 to 1.5 KV.
